Velorbis unveils the limited edition Leikier gents bicycle

Copenhagen, September 2009 – Velorbis, the creator of iconic designer classic bicycles, has linked up with the renowned Danish designer and blacksmith Lars Leikier to create the new limited edition Leikier gents bicycle.

The two Danish design forces of Velorbis and Lars Leikier have combined their visions to craft a bicycle of beautiful geometry and sublime ergonomic comfort.


In 1992-1993 Lars Leikier originally played with the idea of forging a bicycle inspired by the retro 1950’s motorcycle designs. The distinctive Leikier patented frame is hand-made in Denmark from reinforced steel, as are its special edition steel chopper style forks.

Velorbis has embraced this magnificent bicycle frame and has added its luxurious, top-quality components, brown leather accessories and signature cream Fat Frank tyres.

The Leikier is a ‘classic with a twist’ upright bicycle - elegantly robust. As reported recently in the worldwide press, the trend of the bicycle as the accessory for modern living is alive and kicking. A bicycle is a statement about individual style.

The Velorbis Leikier bicycle is a design icon that will appeal to design connoisseurs and bike collectors everywhere.
